The first stone tools made by our ancestors millions of years ago, were the
first step towards the development of civilization as we know it today. Since
then stone has become indispensable to man kind. And now, many years later,
Nassar Jerusalem
stone has developed this old age
business into a state of the art technology. Over a quarter of a century of
experience in handling stone from the quarry to the building sight, Nassar Group
has created a new aesthetics of stone, one which maintains cultural and
historical continuity as it leaps in to the future.
By far, the largest stone manufacturer in the middle east, and one of the 10
largest in the world, the group currently, owns and operates 15 quarries and 3
manufacturing facilities located in Palestine, Jordan, and Oman that employ a
large number of workers and administrative staff, and produce virtually
unlimited supply of the finest limestone and marble appearing in many of the
world's most prestigious projects.
STONE COLLECTION
The group began operation in the seventies recapturing the memory of history and
offering to the world the famous Jerusalem Stone collection. Since then its
operations have greatly expanded to include the manufacture and distribution of
other well known collections such as Jordan's
Royal Stone, and most recently the famous Omani Marble that is fast becoming the
most thought-after beige marble used in construction projects around the world.
Each of the collections offers a distinctive and comprehensive line of standard
and cut to size items to suit every designers taste and style. Clients can
choose from a large stock of material in a wide range of textures and finishes;
in colors ranging from white and beige, to soft yellows, and pastel grays.
Technical properties such as high specific gravity, low water absorption,
and high density make Nassar stones the premier choice for builders flooring,
cladding, and custom fabrication needs.
